Christmas dinner and help for homeless

-

AN APPEAL has been made for help for the homeless, as Bochelli’s prepare for this year’s Christmas dinner in association with Wicklow Homeless Five Loaves.

This will be the second time the Greystones restaurant provides the meal on December 25. Doors will be open for the homeless and less fortunate local people from Bray to Wicklow town.

Any offer of help will be gratefully received and appreciated by those who have fallen on hard times and in difficult circumstances.

According to Bochelli’s, the public can help with financial donations which will go to Five Loaves and Tiglin; hats, scarves, gloves and warm clothing; shoes and books; socks and underwear; toiletries and grooming kits; shower gels, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bochelli’s would like to express their thanks on behalf of their family members and volunteers from last year. ‘It was an indescribable feeling to be part of something that can create a better Christmas for others,’ they said in a statement. For more information, contact the restaurant on 01 2873625.
