WISHING YOU, dear reader, a very happy Christmas

C is for Crib. H is for Home, welcome home! R is for Reason for the season – a child is born. I is for Infant Jesus. S is for Star and Shepherds. T is for Thanks you – nobody taken for granted. M is for Mary and Joseph. A is for Angel and Animals. S is for Santa! Presents. And what do I offer to Jesus on his birthday?

I love the crib. I have to look beyond the statues, to see what is really there.

Thank you, Mary, for saying Yes. Thank you, Joseph, for standing by her.

The shepherds were ordinary folk, not the mighty, or the adored. They were very welcome. So are you, so am I.

The animals remind us that we share the planet, we don’t own it.

The angel points to an extraordinary event.

I love stars – our universe is so vast, yet there is a plan! The child Jesus makes sense of everything.

Happy Christmas.
