Montessori pupils into mini-scientist finals

A ROAD SAFETY project devised by five bright young minds from Wicklow Montessori Primary School has been selected to go forward to the national final of the Intel Mini Scientist competition.

Out of 90 entries into the regional final held in Blanchardstown IT, Wicklow Montessori’s Road Alert Project was picked along with 19 others to compete in the finals in February.

The team consists of Bluebell Dynes, Elsha O’Reilly, Ruairi Phillips, James McCann and Luca Nolan.

Their teacher Melanie Shortt said the pupils put a huge amount of effort into their project.
