History society

To conclude a very successful year, the Kilmacanogue History Society members held their AGM on Tuesday, December 12, in the Glenview Hotel. The following officers were elected; chairperson; Tommy O’Rourke, secretary; Bat Masterson; treasurer; Gerry Lavery and the new PRO is Lucy Harmon.

On Tuesday, January 9, the first lecture will take place. Titled ‘First World war Poets’, it will be presented by Frank Tracy.
