Thank you

As your local correspondent since 2003, I would like to thank each and everyone of you in the community for your constant provision of notes each week. Sadly, for some in our community, this Christmas will be a lonely one as we lost some wonderful people in 2017 whom we will always remember fondly in our hearts.

But we also had many happy occasions in 2017 which I was delighted to report about and I am genuinely amazed at the number of wonderful volunteers we have in our village giving up their time for the benefit of both young and old.

I would like to thank you all for your support and wish both you and your families a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
