Well done Paul

A few weeks back I reported that many had enquired to me via these notes about how to locate and bring their children and grandchildren to the famous Fairy House on Carrigoona. Many of you from near and far have great childhood memories of that little rock on a side of a hill and the wonderful people that painted it and maintained the area over the years.

Well in response to that article, a well-known local hedge cutting services provider took it on board to open a path through the heavily over grown mountainside and as promised, Paul Cahill has opened up a clearway for you all to take a stroll up to it over the Christmas period if you wish and the entrance is at the ‘Two Rocks’.

It is incredible that Paul actually met with some opposition while doing this task voluntary for the young folk of our community but we are sure that 99% of the community are very grateful to him. Well done Paul, a great community person over the years.
