GAA clubman of the Year

Some might have seen the December 27 edition of the Bray People whereby it covered a story of our own Peadar Smyth, who is this year’s Wicklow GAA Club Person of the Year. Everyone is aware of the dedication Peadar has given not just Kilmacanogue GAA Club but the entire community since the lovely Anne O’Toole gave him a bit of encouragement to make the move down from Monaghan and he is here ever since. Peadar is always one of the very first to support everything run in this village and while it is a massive and well-deserved honour for both him and his club, I know everyone in the community would like to congratulate Peadar on this reward. Well done ‘Smythy’.
