SYMPATHY

The local community extend their deepest sympathy to the family of the late Peter Finn (former Garda Superintendent), Knockgreany, Coolgreany, whose burial took place in Ballyfad Cemetery recently after funeral Mass in St David’s Church Johnstown. May He rest in peace.

BABY GIRL

Congratulations to John and Melissa McGrath, Monature, Coolgreany on the birth of their baby girl Elise on December 17. We wish them every good luck in 2018 and hope it is a good year for them.

CHRISTMAS CEREMONIES

There was a packed Church for the Christmas night Mass in St David’s Church and again on Sunday morning where a large attendance was present.

TIDY TOWNS

A sincere word of thanks is due to everyone involved in the putting up of the Christmas Lights in the village, which added greatly to the Festive Season of goodwill.
