Terry honoured for 30 years’ service with Wicklow RNLI

TERRY Sillery has received a long-service award from Wicklow RNLI after clocking up 30 years service at the lifeboat station.

The badge was awarded to the Wicklow town man in recognitio­n of his 30 years of continued service as an operationa­l lifeboat crew member with the charity.

Wicklow RNLI Operation’s Manager Des Davitt paid tribute to Terry and spoke of his commitment and dedication as a volunteer lifesaver over the past three decades.

Terry remains an integral part of the RNLI Wicklow family and continues to serve on the all-weather lifeboat.

His family, friends and fellow RNLI crew members are all very proud of his achievemen­t.
