Terry honoured for 30 years’ service with Wicklow RNLI
TERRY Sillery has received a long-service award from Wicklow RNLI after clocking up 30 years service at the lifeboat station.
The badge was awarded to the Wicklow town man in recognition of his 30 years of continued service as an operational lifeboat crew member with the charity.
Wicklow RNLI Operation’s Manager Des Davitt paid tribute to Terry and spoke of his commitment and dedication as a volunteer lifesaver over the past three decades.
Terry remains an integral part of the RNLI Wicklow family and continues to serve on the all-weather lifeboat.
His family, friends and fellow RNLI crew members are all very proud of his achievement.
