On Thursday, January 4, Kathleen Mouthty and Marie Callanan were ranked first in North/South, John Prunty and Brian Driver second, and Maura O’Brien and Eithne Kane third.

In first position East/West were Paul Irving and Eileen Vickers, John Sheehan and Dermot Kane were second, and Victor and Ann Ryan third.

East Coast Bridge Club meets each Thursday at 7.30 p.m. at the Little Flower Hall, behind the Holy Redeemer church in Bray. each other a Happy New Year.

The tutorial session for beginners and refreshers takes place from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. each Wednesday in the Dominican Ecology Centre conference hall and will continue each week. It is open to anyone interested in having a go at this popular card game. It is free of charge and attempts to introduce the general guidelines in a relaxed and informal format.
