‘It’s Not Yet Dark’ screening

THE film ‘It’s Not Yet Dark’, by the late Simon Fitzmaurice will be screened at Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray on Friday, January 12, at 8 p.m.

In 2008, Irish director Simon was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (ALS).

At just 34 years old, the Greystones resident was given four years to live; but he re- fused to give up and started to work on the script for a feature film – My Name is Emily.

It’s Not Yet Dark is inspirational, honest and particularly poignant following Simon’s recent death.
