THERE WILL BE an ‘introducti­on to mindfulnes­s’ at Enniskerry library on Friday, January 26.

The session will take place from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Participan­ts will learn how mindful- ness practice awakens us to the inner workings of our mental, emotional and physical states.

The practice is known to decrease anxiety and stress, and increase health, energy, self-confidence and compassion for self and others.

The talk will be given by fully accredited and experience­d teacher of mindfulnes­s, health and wellness coach and nutritiona­l consultant Pamela-Maria O’Reilly.
