Site disposed of in Bray

AT the meeting of Wicklow County Council on Monday, January 15, the elected members agreed to the disposal of 0.0076 hectares on parts of land known as the Florentine Centre site on Quinsboro Road in Bray.

The passed disposal was to Avondale Foodstores Ltd., Terenure Place, Dublin, by way of a 35-year lease.

As part of a CPO previously issued, Wicklow County Council agreed to give an equivalent area adjacent to it and some compensation for the construction.

As part of the Florentine Centre agreement, the developer involved will have to build a bottle store.

The old bottle store will be demolished once the new facility is constructed.
