Parish Questionnaire: I would like to thank all who responded to the parish questionnaire distributed at Christmas. The Parish Pastoral Council will now consider how the suggestions made might enhance its role in enervating and guiding the parish and developing and refreshing its var- ious committees as required by guidelines issued from Archbishops House. Most immediately, at its meeting last night (Tuesday), the PPC discussed the most appropriate arrangements for Mass times in our four churches to enable me to most effectively Minister to the wider parish. Maintaining this process of consultation and inclusion is essential to the healthy growth of the parish and its faith communities.
It is important that everyone has the opportunity to express their views and to this end in the coming weeks we will be convening meetings throughout the parish to further consider the issues raised in the questionnaire. A particular thanks to all those who have expressed a willingness to become more active in the running of the parish. Anyone, who has not already done so and would like to get involved is welcome to forward their name to a member of the Parish Pastoral Council or to either of the parish offices – Fr Bernard.
