Quiz gives charities a big boost

BRAY’S Soroptimis­t Club held its annual fundraisin­g table quiz recently – and an impressive €1,700 was raised on the night.

The quiz took place in the Bray Golf Club with around 100 people attending. The money raised is to be donated to a number of charities, including Open Door, Marino Clinic, Rett Syndrome Ireland and the Military Education Fund.

Questions on the night were based around literature, current affairs, and politics. Everyone got a chance to answer.

The Soroptimis­t Club was very pleased with the evening, with a spokespers­on saying the club is delighted to be able to help all of its chosen charities.
