Cheviot Association holds AGM

THE Wicklow Cheviot Sheep Owners Association held their annual AGM recently in the Glendalough Hotel.

Chairman John Malone welcomed the large attendance and gave a detailed account of the year’s events. The association has 400 members and one of its main objectives is the purchasing of feed at discount prices for its members.

The following officers were elected for the coming year: President, Frank McGuire; Vice-Presidents, Peter Behan and Mark Fenton; Secretary, Ann Marie Whittle; Treasurers, Sean Malone, Pat Dunne, John Murphy; Committee of Management, Jim Corrigan, John Malone, Peter Behan, Phillip McGuire, Jim Fitzsimons, Kevin Hanlon and John Murphy. The delegates nominated to Wicklow Uplands Council were Pat Dunne, Sean Malone and Denis Halpin.
