Wicklow dispatch old rivals Tullow

WICKLOW welcomed old rivals Tullow to Ashtown lane on Saturday.
Tullow have always been a tough team for the Wicklow under-16s.
Wicklow played into the wind in the first half. It was a tight tussle with both teams getting a converted try to leave it 7-7 at half-time. Wicklow turned with the wind at their backs in the second half.
They used the wind wisely, pinning Tullow in the corner.
After some good attack from backs and forwards Wicklow scored.
Tullow responded quickly making it 14-12.
Wicklow scored three more tries to Tullow’s one.
The game finished up 32-19 to Wicklow. It was great game by both teams.
The scoreline was a little flattering to Wicklow as it was a tight game.
This leaves Wicklow top of the table in the girls under-16 Premier league.
