Soccer action

The senior team were in league action on Sunday when they travelled to Wicklow Town and recorded a 5-2 win. Nay Watters scored a superb first half hattrick for the Glens to give them a 3-1 lead at the break. The second half was even tighter till Luke O’Callaghan finished off a great move and then Sam Kerr hit the fifth but Wicklow came back again and it was a lot closer a game than the score line might suggest. Dean McCormack, Nay waters and Luke and Ben O’Callaghan were superb in a good team display.

The junior teams all start back training this Thursday night at shoreline with the exception of the under-14s who are back a few weeks now.
