Driving without insurance

A Dutch man who borrowed his girlfriend’s car didn’t realise the insurance had expired.

Marley Schulpen (27), 11 Leinster Sqare, Rathmines, was driving at Sraghmore in Roundwood on April 2, 2017.

He said that as soon as they realised, they updated the insurance.

Judge David Kennedy handed down a fine of €500 and two-year ban.
