Mini marathon

The 10th annual East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning is back on the 20th April 2018. Over the past nine years, the annual event has raised over 400,000 euro for the five Cancer Support Services in Wicklow plus The Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

As part of the 10 year celebrations, they are entering a team into the VHI Ladies Mini Marathon that take place on June 3. They are asking runners, joggers and walkers to join the team and raise funds for the cancer services.

Organiser, Clare Hogan said ‘I am so excited to announce this new edition to the annual fundraiser. It’s such as great way to not only get fit but to meet the local community of Wicklow’. The staff at East Coast FM are all polishing their running shoes and excited to get fit for 2018 and raise funds for these vital services in Wicklow’

The staff and volunteers contact members with regular phone calls, arrange small repairs and organise a range of social events throughout the year.
