The next talk from Greystones Archaeological and Historical Society on Thursday, February 22, will be given by Deirdre McParland, Senior Archivist with ESB, titled ‘Shedding Light on ESB Archives’ with a particular emphasis on County Wicklow.

Deirdre will cover the founding of ESB, the Ardnacrusha Scheme, Rural Electrification and ESB’s advertising in the early days, and will also provide an insight into ESB’s online archive’s website.

The talk will be held in the Kilian Family Centre, Holy Rosary Church at 8 p.m. with admission €2.
