Literary Lectures series at Martello

WORDS Ireland and Bray Literary Festival, with the support of the Wicklow County Arts Office, present a duo of lectures from Sean O’Reilly and Claire-Louise Bennett at The Martello Hotel on Saturday from 2.30 p.m to 4.15 p.m.

Both writers will reflect on the various challenges and internal battles that writers face when they sit down to the desk.

Talks at the event will touch on childhood, writing and rationality, fear, fantasy, rebellion and more.

With a break between the two 40-minute lectures and bar available, the event provides an afternoon for writers to reflect on their own creative practice and process in a warm setting and good company.
