St Gerard’s ride to victory

ST. GERARD’S Show Jumping Open team of Mily O’Loughlin, Emma Ward, Eilis Breathnach and Mark Finnerty won on Saturday , February 17, at Boswell Equestrian Centre in Ashford.

There were nine teams competing and only three teams finished on a score of zero faults after the first two rounds of jumping. Emma Ward and Mark Finnerty were St. Gerard’s two riders who jumped against the clock in the jump off and both of them had superb rounds and went clear - in fact they were the only pair to go clear out of the six riders in the jump off.

So, St. Gerard’s equestrian team went home with red rosettes.
