Hunter wants to help Mel with the re-opening of the club, but is put out when Jack also tries to get involved. Jack also tries to support Hunter in light of it being the anniversary of Steve’s death. However, Hunter still isn’t happy with Jack’s interference and wants him out of his mum’s life.

Later, the new sign of the club is unveiled and Mel is furious when she sees what Hunter has done.

Meanwhile, the Carters’ fears over the danger posed by Aidan intensify. Aidan ends up forcing Mick to accept some hush money, but Linda once again takes matters into her own hands. Mick panics when he finds out what Linda has done, and soon makes a brave decision of his own.
