Poc Fada set for the Sugarloaf again

IT’S that time of year again, Wicklow GAA poc fada is back on the Sugarloaf Mountain.

This year’s event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, April 2, and the organisers will be hoping for a better turnout than last year’s event, and for better weather!

As always there are two categories for hurling and two for the camogie.

Under-16 boys/girls Senior mens and women The camogie is the first to get underway on the day when the under-16s get going from 10.30am, followed by the adults half an hour later at 11am.

At 12.30, the under-16 boys will strike off and 30 minutes later the men will get their mountainous journey underway around the scenic Sugarloaf.
