Man’s body found on beach

A body was found on Bray beach last Thursday morning, March 22.

According to gardaí in Bray, the deceased was a man in his mid-40s and from the Shankill area.

They said that they do not yet know the full circumstan­ces surroundin­g the death.

The gentleman was discovered around 7.30 a.m. on the shore opposite the car park at the northern end of the strand.

Gardaí attended the scene and contacted a doctor, as well as undertaker­s.

The man’s remains were removed to Loughlinst­own Hospital, where a post-mortem was carried out.
