Council to take 13 estates in charge
WICKLOW County Council intends to take charge of a number of different housing estates spread out throughout the Garden County.
Roads within the 13 estates will also be declared as public roads. In accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 and Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, the local authority intends to give notice that an order will be issued so the council can take charge of Avondale Meadows in Rathdrum, Burkeen in Wicklow town, Castlelynn in Bray, Cherry Glade Walkway in Delgany, Cherry Hill in Delgany, Churchfields in Delgany, Cluain Ard in Arklow, Cluain Ard Court in Arklow, Djouce Meadows in Roundwood (phase 1 and 2), Glendale in Delgany, Marlton Court in Wicklow town, Riverwalk in Ashford and Winetavern Manor in Stratford on Slaney.
Maps of the housing estates showing the roads and open spaces to be taken in charge may be inspected at the offices of the Planning Directorate of Wicklow County Council, County Buildings Station Road, Wicklow town during normal opening hours or at the Council’s website www.wicklow.ie until April 23.
Objections or representations may be made in writing to the undersigned not later than May 8.
