WELLS House & Gardens are EGG-cited for Easter and are pulling out all the stops with family events throughout the week!

Outdoor Puppet Shows at 1pm & 3pm – interactiv­e and imaginativ­e puppet shows by Redmoon Theatre, €5 per child. A lovely way to spend an afternoon and of course, adults go free.

Our Egg-statically Egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt is a-go! Join the Easter bunny on the hunt for your chocolate treasure! Children receive maps and need to search for the clues in order to claim their prize. There will also be live music and a barbecue on the terrace – Only €5 per child for the egg hunt.

Electric Zoo come to Wells House & Gardens for some Easter Fun! The event is free, and we will have music and a barbecue on the terrace. There is an indoor option should the weather take a turn.

Join us for a day of Kids’ workshops with candle making, fairy door decorating, falconry and build-a-bear! Book now as spaces are limited!

More informatio­n available for all activities at www.wellshouse.ie / car park charge of €8 per car. GLENROE Farm in Kilcoole is all set for another egg-citing Easter weekend. Easter is a very special time on the farm when all the animals show off their new arrivals to the public, lambs, chicks, ducklings, piglets, guinea pigs and more. The fun goes on for three days (Easter Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday) with egg races for thousands of crème eggs, puppet shows, face painting, Easter bunnies, spot prizes as well as all the familiar farm animals and pets, fabulous outdoor playground and undercover play area. If you need to take a break there is also the nature walk taking you to a Fairy Garden in the woodland.

Each child (aged 2 to 14 years old) will get a ticket to take part in an egg race on the farm. Over the weekends thousands of crème eggs will be found and there is a special prize in each race. The farm is open from 10 am to 5 pm this weekend with egg races taking place throughout the day and the last race at 4.30 p.m. each day. There will be a puppet show twice daily at 12 noon and 2 p.m. in the indoor picnic area on the farm. Normal admission prices apply

Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) 25 euro. The farm is ideally located just off the N11 (exit 11 for Greystones/Kilcoole) and follow the signs for Kilcoole and Glenroe Farm.
