Enniskerry earn their first victory

NEWCASTLE 0-8, Enniskerry 0-14: Two teams looking for their first win of the season met in Newcastle and it was the Black and Amber men who brought the points home due mainly to a strong second half.

The first-half was nip and tuck and ended with the home side 0-5 to 0-4 ahead.

Some very good points were kicked by both sides and there was a goal in it with five minutes left but points from Aidan Kavanagh,Gavin Barton and James Moloney sealed the win.

Other Enniskerry scorers were Brendan Barton,Tom Egan and Colm Nolan.

Best for Enniskerry were Brendan Fitzgerald, Dan Kelly, Craig Williams and Eoin Byrne.

Enniskerry play Hollywood next Saturday, March 31, in Enniskerry at 5 p.m.
