“March has been a difficult month for us because of the games on Fridays and Mondays. The training schedule was disrupted because of the weather and I’m sure that effected everybody..but it did set us back with work that we were doing on the training ground. I take full responsibility for that because that’s what I’m endeavouring to do - to work with the players on the training ground. At the moment, it’s not reflected in our points tally and overall performances.
“I’m convinced that it will turn but it has to turn quickly. I’m trying to keep things in perspective but ultimately, the longer we go without a win, it does impact on confidence and the players. There’s no question about that.”
