Sunshine Fund Collection: The annual Advocate Collection of the Sunshine fund of the society of St Vincent de Paul which took place recently amounted to €1,165. Your generosity to this collection every year is deeply appreciate­d. Sincere thanks as always to the sixth class girls and boys from St Fergal’s NS who collected at all the Masses. Also thank you to Paul McHugh who assists with the counting of this collection every year.

Church Cleaner’s/Sweeper’s: Would you have two hours to spare on Monday Afternoons? Our Cleaning team are in dire need of a couple of extra people to help SWEEP the church every week so as: firstly, to ensure the floors are always kept clean and free from dust, and secondly when its Floor Polishing Week it won’t be the huge job it has now become for our regular Cleaning Ladies, who have been doing this work tirelessly for years. Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes: Bookings for our Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes are now being taken in Villa Pacis (weekdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

Our Lady Queen of Peace summer Project 2018: Our very popular summer project will take place again this July in the Villa Pacis under the supervisio­n of Anne Nolan. Week 1: July 2 to July 6 ; Week 2: July 9 to July 13. Open to children aged eight to 14 years of age. €35 per child per week. QOP YOUTH CLUB

Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club will re-open after the Easter holiday on Friday night, March 6. The event will be a night walk in Glendaloug­h leaving the club house at 6.46 p.m.

DIVING CLUB

Bray Divers have places for four trainee divers on their training course beginning after Easter. New members are expected to complete pool training and lectures and to be in the water on scuba before the June holiday weekend. The course is tailor made to suite participan­ts. STEAM TRAIN TRIPS

On Sunday, April 29, the Railway Preservati­on Society will operate ‘The Dublin Riviera’ steam train from Dublin to Bray and return with two additional steam trains trips from Bray to Wicklow and return. Tickets for this trip will be on sale shortly.
