Citizens Information centre on the move – but not too far away

-

BRAY Citizens Information Centre is moving - but not far.

From Monday, April 16, the team will be delivering free information, advice and advocacy as well as specialist services from their new office at Unit 2, The Boulevard, Quinsboro Road, Bray, two doors down from their existing office (where the former FAS/Intreo offices were located). In order to facilitate the move the centre will be closed Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13.

Bray CIC provides a free and confidential information, advice and advocacy service on topics such as social welfare, employment rights, housing, health matters, immigration, consumer issues and many more. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. There is no need to make a prior appointment (except for specialist services).

Martina Cronin, development manager for County Wicklow Citizens Information Service is delighted with the move noting that the team has come a long way in the 46 years since its inception, in the office at Holy Redeemer Church.

‘Our team of volunteers and staff are thrilled to be moving to the new more spacious premises where we can continue to deliver our high quality information, advice and advocacy services to the public. We look forward to welcoming new and regular clients,’ Martina said.

Bray Citizens Information Centre can be contacted by phone on 0761 07 6780.
