The wonderful world of bees is discovered

THE fascinating world of bees will be uncovered at an upcoming workshop at St Mary’s Junior School, Blessington.

Blessington Tidy Towns and the Irish Wildlife Trust will present the workshop entitled ‘People for Bees’.

It runs from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. this Saturday, April 14, and will provide training in bee identification, surveying and recording techniques.

It will consist of an indoor presentation and an outdoor practical session at a nearby wildflower habitat. This is a beginner’s level workshop which will introduce you to the fascinating world of bees and the importance of bee monitoring in Ireland.

It is ideal for community groups such as Tidy Towns.
