GREYSTONES RUGBY CLUB LADIES’ DAY
PROCEEDS from this year’s Ladies Day at Greystones Rugby Club will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society and Greystones Cancer Support.
The glamorous affair included food, bubbly, fashion and pampering. The ladies of the community enjoyed a fun day out which included a raffle and auction and a performance by Bray Gospel Choir.
The Irish Cancer Society through the donations from Daffodil Day support people at home dealing with cancer.
The many vital services the Irish Cancer Society provide include: Providing drivers to get patients to hospitals and treatment centres for treatment and night nursing services to care for people with cancer at every stage of their illness.
Providing their night nurses, oncology liaison nurses and homecare teams deliver the highest standards of care to patients and their families, free of charge.
Providing end of life care in the most caring and dignified way by allowing a lot of patients staying in their own home, surrounded by family. The money raised from Daffodil Day collections in Greystones and money raised at the event will be used to support the people of Greystones and surrounding areas.
