SHORELINE Leisure in Greystones is in the running to be crowned the Health and Fitness Club of the Year at a gala luncheon this Friday.

Ireland’s top health and fitness professionals will attend the inaugural Nutramino Health and Fitness Awards 2018 at the Mansion House in Dublin on April 20, which will be hosted by Vogue Williams.

Over 400 entries were received from gyms, trainers, experts and health clubs nationwide have been scrutinised by a panel of judges and the best nominees were put forward for the shortlists in a range of categories, including Best Health and Fitness Blog, Best Outdoor and Fitness Event, Best Family Friendly Gym and Best Rehabilitation Facility.

The Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones was named among the nine businesses fighting it out for the title of Health and Fitness Club of the Year.

The awards acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in the health and fitness industry and aim to recognise the outstanding work of instructors, trainers, fitness programmes, gyms and corporate facilities.

All finalists go forward to a regional ‘People’s Choice’ category, where the public can determine a deserving winner by voting for their favourite health and fitness facility in each of the provinces.
