It was another wet weekend with some games falling victim to the heavy overnight rain early Sunday morning. However, four games did go ahead. The under-8s had a series of games away to St Anthony’s where the hosts ran out worthy winners over the four games.

The 10s had a fantastic 3-2 win over Enniskerry in a great performance by the entire in which everyone played their part. Kaiter, Oran, Ross and Oisin were superb at the back with Jude, Seán, Luke, Toby and Cian all fantastic going forward. Seán Sweeney had another super game in goals also. Luke Kelly got a brilliant winner and Seán Prendergast got the other two.

The under-11s were away to a very strong Arklow United team and suffered a 10-2 defeat. Trailing 0-8 at halftime, these Glens never gave up and drew the second half 2-2 with both goals scored by Seán Sweeney with all nine players never giving up.

The under-12s travelled to Aughrim and came away with a 2-2 draw. The Glens were a little disappointed as they were two goals ahead with seven minutes to go and only had one sub so the legs just got tired. Team manager Alan Prendergast commented it was a great performance from every player.
