Catherine McGillycud­dy and Bridie Nolan took first place for East/ West, second Teresa Leahy and Marian Davies, third Phil Power and Brid Clancy and fourth Ger Lenihan and Paddy O’Brien.

002 BRIDGE CLUB

Friday the 13th certainly didnt prove unlucky for Molly Byrne and Rachel Judd as they took first place for North/South, second Nancy O’Brien and Catherine McGillycud­dy, third June Digby and Monica Brady and fourth Séamus Kennedy and John Loscher. First for East/West were Maura Gaskin and Bridie Nolan, second Maria Magee and Rowena Brady, third Liz Belton and Phil Kenna and fourth Paddy O’Brien and Ger Lenihan.

COMMUNITY GAMES

The Community Games athletics run off will take place Wednesday, April 25, at An Tochar Gaa, please be there 5.30 for a 5.45 start. Cycling on grass will take place on Friday the 27th at An Tochar Gaa, 6 p.m. There will be a cover charge of €2 per athlete or €5 per family. It is the parent/ guardian responsibl­y to ensure their children compete in the correct age category.

BARN DANCE

Moneystown Midsummer barn dance and barbecue will take place on June 30 in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 p.m. till late. Music by the Roamin Cadiliacs and the Whole Hog. Fully licensed.

Roundwood Home Producers Market re-opened on Sunday, March 25, from midday till 5 p.m. New members are always welcome.

TRACTOR RUN

There will be a tractor Run on Sunday, April 22, at pm in Annamoe Centre. A great day for all the family.

CONSERVATI­ON HIKE

This takes place in the Wicklow Mountains National Park on Sunday, April 29, at 11 a.m. Learn about the management issues of the National Park on a hike of three to five hours.
