Bray Musical Society presents Seussical

-

Bray Musical Society brought colour and fun to Mermaid Arts Centre last week, with their production of Seussical.

They performed the musical for four nights, from Wednesday to Saturday, with standing ovations and rapturous applause.

With the wonderful imagination of Dr Seuss providing the raw material, this was a musical perfect for the whole family.

The cast members brought the audience into the world of Dr Seuss, revisiting beloved characters from the iconic books, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and JoJo.

Charming Seussical teaches the audience the power of being unique and the importance of fighting for your beliefs.

The cast and crew had been working hard on the production since January, with rehearsals taking place at least twice a week. The show was directed by Vicki Gallagher, while Elizabeth Gregan was musical director.
