Woman attacked in Greystones

April 1994

-

A LONE raider failed to get away with any cash after he assaulted a woman collecting money on her milk round in Greystones late last week.

The incident took place at Applewood Heights, Greystones, last Thursday evening. The woman was approached from behind by the man who struck her in the head with his fist. The victim, a woman from Bray, suffered no serious physical injury as a result of the assault.

Her attacker tore away her pocket but failed to get any money before he fled and made his escape from the scene in a dark coloured Fiat Panda car parked nearby.

Gardai have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything connected with the crime to contact them.
