Fr Brian Darcy’s Showband talk

The members of the Kilmacanogue History Society are appealing to all you Showband fans to come and listen to Fr Brian D’Arcy’s talk on ‘The Irish Showband Phenomenon’ in the Glenview Hotel on Tuesday, May 1, at 8 p.m.

It is hard to believe it’s the last talk before the summer Break and you can be guaranteed an entertaining evening, with Fr Brian an excellent public speaker with his easy manner. This lecture will also give an opportunity to share fond memories of that unique Band ‘The Miami’ with Bray connections and personally known to Fr Brian. The lecture is open to everyone so please feel free to come along on the night.
