SHOTGUN TERROR
Man fires shots at Dargle Road house as parents and children slept
A number of shots were fired through the front door of a house in Bray late on Monday night.
The shots were fired on Dargle Road at around 11.45 p.m. when the family were in bed.
A man in the house went to investigate after he heard a number of ‘ bangs’ and saw a man shooting at his home. It is understood that the shooter fired up to six shoots at the home using a shotgun.
A number of children and their mother were in the house at the time but thankfully nobody was injured in the attack.
The man carrying the shotgun fled the scene on foot but it is not known what direction he went.
Gardai in Bray said they are treating the matter very seriously and are investigating the possibility that this was a case of mistaken identity.
