Open Door receives €1,030 from charity bridge night

DARGLE Bridge Club raised €1,030 for Open Door at their recent charity night and raffle.

Anne Mullen, treasurer of Dargle Bridge Club, presented Open Door with a cheque for €1,030 last Wednesday.

Rudy Montejo, manager at Open Door and Suzanne Cox, Developmen­t Officer at Open Door thanked the Bridge Club members for their support. These funds will go toward activities including physiother­apy, art, woodwork, ceramics and music for adults with physical disabiliti­es attending Open Door in Bray.

Dargle Bridge Club play every Wednesday night in Open Door Centre, Vevay Road, Bray. The club caters for all grades once two year’s lesson are completed.

Summer Bridge begins on Wednesday, June 6, and anyone is welcome to come along and try it out.

Play begins at 7.30 pm sharp and the cost is €5 per person.
