Wednesday, April 11, was the very popular Maureen O’Shea Cup Memorial in aid of the RNLI, with the presentation of table money presented to the RNLI Representative on the night.

This always brings extra players on the night and this competition proved no exception. First place went to Joe Kelly and Siobhan Howard.

Siobhan had the added joy of winning her late Mother’s Cup, no doubt finding a special place for it in her home until she shares it with Joe.

In second place were Deborah Shpperlee and Dorothy Levingstone ad in third place husband and wife Michael and Nell O’Goman.

Thursday saw Joe Heaslip and Freddie Quinn finish first, Siobhan Howard continuing her winning streak and Neil McKeever finishing second.

Irene Maher and Pauline Jameson were third.

Friday morning winners were Mairead Scanlon and Jane Bradshaw,. In second place were sisters Margaret Kelly and Rose Butler. In third were Eric and Dorothy Levingstone.

On Monday, April 16, there were clear winners in first place in the form of Marie Barret and Martha Ffrench. In second were Kathleen Johnson and Heather Sheane with couple Jack and Joan McElhinney in third place.
