The residency aims to provide a musician with funding in order to plan and deliver a series of concerts, with integrated audience development components, in partnership with Wicklow County Council Arts Office and Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre.

The Artist Residency Programme will run from 2018 into 2019 where a selected musician will have access to resources to create a 6-date concert programme to take place within a 6 – 9 month timeframe (commencing in Autumn 2018) in Mermaid Arts Centre, Wicklow.

It is intended that this programme will positively intersect with local authority arts development plans and venues’ programming priorities and potentially, the work of a range of community music groups.
