Comedy festival gift for Mental Health Ireland
Bray Comedy Festival recently presented the proceeds of their wrap party to Mental Health Ireland.
Festival coordinator Adam Burke and Rick Walsh of the Harbour Bar made the presentation to Jill O’Herlihy of Mental Health Ireland.
They raised €450 at the event which closed the festival last February.
MC Ian Coppinger was joined by comedians Karl Spain and Fred Cooke as well as Sean Begley and Joanne McNally for the festival finale.
The dates for next year’s festival have been announced and there will be town-wide fun and laughter from February 13 - 17.
Mental Health Ireland is a national voluntary organisation which was established in 1966 as the Mental Health Association of Ireland.
MHI’s aim is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing to all individuals and communities in Ireland.
They have a network of 92 Mental Health Associations throughout the country, all led by volunteers.
