BIFE students showcase films to mark year end

-

BRAY Institute of Further Education celebrated its graduation film show recently.

The evening of film showcased the work of the graduating film students. For most, this was their third and final year of study in BIFE.

This year’s films were shown in BIFE’s new TV studio at the Civic Plaza on Bray Main Street.

There were 14 short films that covered every conceivable genre of film, from horror to comedy. Each film was written, directed and pro- duced in BIFE as part of the Higher National Diploma Program in Film Production and a captivated audience welcomed the chance to see the work of the next generation of Irish film makers.

The students are now completing their studies in BIFE and some are preparing to complete one final year to achieve an honours degree in Film Production. Many of the films will now be sent on for screenings at other Irish and international film festivals.
