Fantastic support for school

THERE was a great turnout at the recent dinner dance in aid of St Patrick’s National School, Curtlestown.

One of the organisers Sorcha Burton said the event has been a massive success with 183 people in attendance.

‘It was a great night, very successful. We were delighted to see so many people supporting the school. The money will be used to fund a deficit the school has. Music on the night was by Bray band Luna Boys who have played at Electric Picnic and are definitely a band to watch.

‘We had great support from the parents of the other two schools in the area, St Mary’s and St Gerard’s in Enniskerry and Powerscourt National School.’

Sorcha extended thanks to everyone who had sponsored the event and those who attended.
