Horse show entries
The annual Kilmacanogue and District Horse Show Society will host its 45th Show on Saturday, July 28, in Monastery, Enniskerry.
This show raised €7,000 for some very worthwhile charities last year and you are invited once again to come along to be impressed by the showy paces of the best of Ireland’s horse breeds – from the massive Irish Draughts and the famous Connemara’s to the tiny Kerry Bog Ponies with their big personalities.
Bring the children for the pony rides, colouring competitions, treasure hunt and the friendliest dog show in Ireland. Visit the trade stands, enjoy coffee and tea and wonderful food, discover the freshly picked raspberries grown locally and exhibit your photographs. Walk for miles without realising it – a wonderful day out for people and animals of all ages.
All proceeds go to support a range of charities supporting people (undergoing cancer treatment, living with kidney disease or being rehabilitated after a spinal injury) and animals. Please save the date in your diaries and get your entries in.
