Ascension Day: 8.30 a.m. – Holy Communion; 11 a.m. – Family Service with the blessing of Animals, followed afterwards with coffee in the Erck Hall. Weather will dictate the format re. the blessing of God’s creatures; 7 p.m. – Holy Communion, Lector Garret O’Keeffe.

Easter Vestry: The Easter Vestry took place in April. The business of the meeting was attended to and the rector announced his wardens – Rector’s Glebe Warden: Geoffrey Perrin; Rector’s Church Warden: Richard Marshall. The following were voted in – Peoples’ Church Warden: Paul Barron; Peoples’ Glebe Warden: Peter Williams. Members of the Select Vestry elected were – Fiona Ashe, Lily Byrne, Marian Conboy, Debbie Duncan, David Elmes, James Hendry, Michael Malcolmson, Mathew McCauley, Peter Richardson, Caroline Senior, David Simmons and Mark Thornburgh. The treasurer presented the Accounts for the year, a copy of which has been circulated to parishioners.

The Alpha/In-Between Book Club: The Book Club will meet at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at which the book for May will be ‘He’, by John Connolly. The June
