Golf club plans comedy fundraiser

Comedians Barry Murphy, Karl Spain and Colum McDonnell will perform at Whale Theatre next month as part of Greystones Golf Club’s charity week.

The fundraising drive is being held in association with Paul Dunne and other events throughout the week include a day of golf on Friday, June 1, and a day with Paul himself on Friday, June 8.

His visit will include a Q&A session, auction, prize-giving and dinner. All spaces are sold out but anyone wishing to provide sponsorship can contact the club on 01 2874136.

The comedy evening, dubbed ‘Hole-In-Three Comedy Night’, takes place on Thursday, June 7 at 8 p.m.

Funds from the show will go to Lakers, and the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation. Tickets are €30 and available from whaletheatre.ie.
